A Weekend at Cannon Beach

Our family spent the first weekend in May at Cannon Beach, my FAVORITE beach town. My Unlce Bob is working in Portland for the month and he took my parents and Dom, baby Dominic and I to the beach to hang out!
This is the hotel we stayed at with a view of Haystack rock. Our room was the last one on the right.

We had a great time! We arrived Friday night in time to watch the sunset, have dinner and enjoy a glass of wine. :)

Saturday we spent watching a cool storm roll through. Dom took our dog out on the beach and the wind was so strong that Dom could lean into the wind and it held him up!

Saturday night we walked around the art galleries in Cannon Beach. This weekend was the annual art festival, where the galleries would release new paintings. Saturday evening we attended the gallery receptions, enjoying the art along with some wine and cheese. :)

Sunday was a gorgeous day and we didn't want to leave! I took Dominic for a walk on the beach, while Dom and dad went fishing in the surf. The weather was gorgeous, t-shirt weather. Amazing for the beginning of May! We can't wait for summer!!

They didn't catch anything, but it was a beautiful place to fish!
